The ISTA Project 4AB software based Test Planner generates Enhanced Simulation
laboratory test plans. Each test plan is uniquely tailored to simulate a
specific distribution sequence for a particular packaged-product.
To begin, you are asked to describe your product, package, and details of your
Distribution Sequence. The program then uses this information, along
with stored data on global transportation/distribution hazards, to create your
Enhanced Simulation test plan.
Access to the program is free to all ISTA members through 2007. Non-members may
contact ISTA members to have them demonstrate the program and/or produce a Project
4AB test plan.
Project 4AB test plans require sophisticated laboratory testing equipment. Any laboratory
with the ability to perform ISTA 3-Series tests can generally perform at least a
basic Project 4AB test. Because of the many possible variables, however, it is necessary
to confirm lab capabilities in relation to each specific test plan generated by
4AB
